Insert stove

An insert stove is one designed to fit straight into a British standard 16” x 22” opening
These are simple and easy to fit as well as being neat and tidy giving an output of up to 7kW
To install an insert starts at £150.00 up to approximately £250.00 if extra structural work is required.

Freestanding stove

Freestanding stoves are exactly as they sound they stand independently in the room usually on legs or with an integral log store with attractive black flue pipe visible in the room or as a feature in an Inglenook.
Outputs vary from 4kw to over 14kw for the larger areas (see heat calculator)
To install a freestanding stove starts at £245.00 to £295.00 but is very dependent on the weight of the stove and whether an Inglenook requires creating or is freestanding and is very subject to survey.

A Hole in the Wall or Cassette

A Hole in the Wall or Cassette is similar to the insert type but usually require a bespoke opening to be created and are raised slightly off the floor but not too high as to affect the efficiency of the stove.
Outputs usually start at 5kW up to over 11kW for a spectacular large vista types.
To install a cassette type starts at £295.00 but depends whether a new lintel is required and how much material needs to be removed and making good, these are very labour intensive but give a talking point to any room.

Chimneys and flue liners

All the above is subject to using the existing chimney and not connecting to any flue liners.

If the chimney is unsound, then a liner will be required which we can supply and install.

Any flue or parts can be supplied at competitive rates, please feel free to contact us with any enquires for your Solid or Multi-fuel stove be it just a cowl or a full liner and insulation for the best results.
